How to fix Google Error code OR-IEH-01

Sometimes, adding a credit card to your google account generates an Error code OR-IEH-01 each time. It can really be frustrating especially when you are on a deadline and need to complete a project.

When I first faced this challenge, I tried everything I could- I added new cards, tried to verify already added cards but still faced this challenge.

The last solution worked for me but feel free to try any of the listed solutions if one doesn’t work out.

What is Error code OR-IEH-01?

The OR-IEH-01 error code is typically associated with issues involving Google services, specifically in payments that are relevant to Google Wallet or Google Play. In most instances, this error code appears in the event of problems with the payment method, account verification, or payment method availability based on the region. To resolve this issue, you should follow these steps:. First.

Check payment methods:

Verify if your payment information i.e. credit/debit card details are up to date and correct.  Make sure the payment method in use is supported in your region and with Google services.

Account information:

Confirm that all the details in your Google account are accurate. This includes your name, address, or any sort of personal details.

At times, a mix-up in the account information may be the cause.

Clear Cache and Cookies:

Clear the cache and cookies of your browser if you are using Google services via a web browser.

For mobile apps, clear the cache and data of the Google Play Store and Google Play Services from your device settings.

Use a Different Browser or Device:

Try accessing the service from a different web browser or a different device to see if the issue persists.

Contact Support:

On your Android device open the main menu of the Play Store app, tap Help & feedback, and under “Need more help?” tap Contact us. Or fill this contact form

Verify Identity:

Google might require additional identity verification. Check your email or the Google Wallet app for any prompts requesting additional information or documents.

One other this problem is just simply delete your information and then resubmit it. Sadly, google failed to tell me this or at least make it simple to find. I found the solution on a forum like this vs finding it in plain sight.
